Supporting veterans

Beyond
the bottle.

Patton stands for service. Through the Patton Veterans Project, Benjamin Patton works alongside veterans, using filmmaking to cope with post-traumatic stress and to help communities understand military families.

Where your $2 goes

From your glass
to their story.

  1. 01

    A bottle is opened

Somewhere in America, a Patton bourbon or rye is poured.

  2. 02

    $2 is set aside

From every bottle sold. $12 from every case of 6.

  3. 03

A veteran picks up a camera

At an I Was There workshop, veterans write, shoot and edit a film about their own service.

  4. 04

    A room listens

The films are screened for families and communities. The isolation starts to lift.

What the project does

Films that make a community.

The Patton Veterans Project uses collaborative filmmaking as a way for veterans coping with posttraumatic stress to validate their service, reduce isolation, and build stronger bonds with family, community and colleagues.

The work also teaches the public. Every film and screening shows what military families live with today.

Two dollars from every bottle of Patton Spirits supports that mission, so that we take care of those who have so courageously taken care of us.
